Pumpkin Run:

Well, Tomorrow my XC (Cross Country) squad is having a Pumpkin Run. The Pumpkin Run is basically an 11 mile run through pumpkin fields near me, and it will be royally horrid. I did one similar to this last year, but it was only 7 miles, and not nearly as much hills. The only good thing is though is that their is a Taco Night after (I opted for Steak, but it was shot down) Basically, My calves are extremely sore as it is, and tomorrow will not improve it. Oh well, life is tough.

Political Stance: Let me fill you in

Hi guys,

I made this blog to just let everyone know what my political stance is on life, and I wanted to say why.

-I am a conservative.

Why? I think that alot of people do not expect a 13 year old to have a political stance, and understand politics, but i have been interested in quite some time. I am a conservative because I do not believe that the government should be putting their nose in our private business sometimes, well no, all the time. I also believe that since the government is collecting so much of our taxmoney, they should not waste it.

I also support many things Republicans support (Thus making me a Conservative-Republican) I do not support Abortion at all, quite frankly I do not understand how anyone could. In my honest opinion, if their is an unplanned pregnancy, eliminate the crisis, and do not ever eliminate the child.

That is why I am a Conservative-Republican :D

Roger Ebert: My Fairy Grandfather

Many people have role models, many people have icons that they look up too. Mine....Is Roger Ebert. Roger's Biography actually came out on September 13th, and I finished the 430 page book in Less than two days. I think that in order to fully understand someone, you have to understand their life, their loved ones, and their battles. Ebert has struggled with Cancer, Alcoholism, and hate from fans, and even hatred just because he does not look like the "Average Joe."

My future career will be as a Film Critic, I am positive. Roger inspired me to do this, and that I will do. I read his website at Chicago Sun-Times every day, and always take notes on his aspects of critiquing a film. If you have not already, I desperately encourage you to  read it, or at least go to his website to search his reviews on movies you have seen (http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/)

So, In another World, I see Roger as being my Grandfather, and maybe we can all strive to be a little like Roger everyday.

A Completely Needed Intro to TurnerTabloid!

Hello! 


I am fairly new to blogging, although I do have a lot of experience with computers and this sort of stuff, so bare with me if I do not add something or another, for I am trying :D.


Well, My Username is TurnerTabloid and I started to blog because I really think opinions are making a difference in this day and age, and why not share mine.
